Levels of personnel qualification

Level 1

  • Set-up NDT equipment and perform basic calibration
  • Perform NDT tests and measurements
  • Record the results
  • Classify the results according to written work instruction
  • Report the results

Level 2

  • Select NDT technique
  • Compline work instructions following codes, standards and validated procedures
  • Set-up NDT equipment and perform calibration
  • Perform and/or supervise NDT tests and measurements
  • Record and classify the results
  • Interpret and evaluate results following codes, standards and validated procedures
  • Organize and report the results
  • Provide guidance and supervision to Level 1 personnel
